KINO LEE Cork Film Festival is a three-day film that aims to celebrate and promote filmmaking festival talent in Cork City and beyond.
The festival will take place in October offering a diverse range of activities for filmmakers, film enthusiasts, and the general public.

Objectives: Showcase local and international filmmaking talent. Facilitate networking opportunities among artists and filmmakers. Encourage creative collaborations and inspire new film projects. Provide a platform for filmmakers to showcase their work to a wider audience.
Promote Cork City as a vibrant hub for the arts and culture.

Schedule
Day 1 - Friday, October 13th, 2023
Time: 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm
- Venue: Kino (Cork City)
- Film Presentations: Screening of selected short films and feature-length movies to kick-start the festival.
- Pitch Session: Filmmakers will have the opportunity to present their film concepts and ideas to industry professionals and potential collaborators.
- Networking Event: A designated time for artists, filmmakers, and industry experts to network and discuss potential collaborations or future projects.
*After 11 pm, the Kino Cine, turns into Kino Club until the closing of the place, according to the Business Owners.
Day 2 - Saturday, October 14th, 2023
Time: 9:00 am to 11:00 pm
- Venue: Kino (Cork City)
- Seda College
- Cork City Streets and Parks
- Filmmaking Day: Filmmakers will be divided into groups and provided with a list of locations in Cork City to create short films within the day. The locations will include Kino, Seda College, Sabor Nordestino Restaurant, Cork City streets, and parks.
- Film Recording: Filmmakers will spend the day shooting their films.
*After 11 pm, the Kino Cine, turns into Kino Club until the closing of the
place, according to the Business Owners.
Day 3 - Sunday, October 15th, 2023
Time: 9:00 am to 11:00 pm
- Venue: Kino (Cork City)
- Seda College
- Cork City Streets and Parks
Morning
Film Editing & Scene Recording: Filmmakers will spend the morning editing their films and have the option to re-record scenes that need improvement.
Evening
- Time: 8:00 pm
- Venue: Kino (Cork City)
- Film Screening: All the films created during the festival will be screened at the cinema, Kino. This public screening will allow filmmakers to showcase their work to the audience and receive feedback.
- Venue: Kino (Cork City)
- Festival Closing Party: The festival will conclude with a celebratory event at Kino, including dance, drinks, and various artist presentations.
- Raffle: Exciting raffles will be held throughout the evening, offering participants the chance to win prizes and support the festival.
Movies with a maximum of 6 minutes.
All Filmmakers must transfer, via Google Drive, their films until 5pm on Sunday afternoon, to the Kino Festival organization.
